His business career began on the East Coast working in General Electric’s Financial Management Program...

A yearning for the West Coast brought THE soon to be proclaimed Doctor back to southern California which was just in time to be a part of a NEW industry called “Interconnect”. Up until 1968, AT&T was a complete 100% monopoly covering all aspect of the telephone industry from hardware to telephone lines to answering machines. However, the US Supreme Court decision known as the Carter Phone Decision ordered the right of American businesses to “interconnect” their own telephone systems to AT&T lines. A new revolution that began with installing manual cord Switchboards has now morphed into today’s newest choice…VOIP.

Roger’s telecom experience covers the growth of a small company with just a few employees in a never before known industry called “interconnect”( in direct competition with the multibillion dollar AT&T) to an organization that grew to over 700 employees.

We had a simple philosophy that was revolutionary at the time:
